The Brief:
The client wanted to replace their current rubber surfacing as it had become tired and had lost its grip. They wanted to ensure that when children were playing, they weren’t at risk of slipping over.

The Challenges:
The smaller section of the site was complicated to install TPV wet pour surfacing on as it was a raised mound with a track that was never used. The raised area was a risk to children and took up a lot of space meaning the area could not be utilised to its best.
To overcome this, we removed the seating, the tree and dropped the entire sub base down to make it level.
Outcome:
Having replaced the tired rubber surfacing with TPV wet pour in green, the area had a new lease of life; brightening up the area whilst making it a safer environment for children to play due to the added grip properties.
