The Brief:
The client wanted to replace their old wooden play boat with a low maintenance, durable play boat that was bright in colour and could have bespoke Viking graphics added.
Viking graphics were requested as in the Saxon age, Thetford was raided by Vikings and made the Saxon capital of East Anglia.
The Budget:
Approximately £20,000 + VAT

Challenges:
The installation occurred on a historical site so an archaeologist had to supervise on a daily basis. The soil had to be retained for inspection and sifting.
This presented us with an unusual working practice but all of the necessary adjustments were made to the method statements and risk assessments with the customer’s approval at every stage
