The Brief:
The Client wanted to add a new Outdoor gym to the local park as an option for all age groups to workout for free. The Client indicated they would like a mix of strength and cardiovascular equipment.
Equipment Installed:
• Community Outdoor Gym Bundle
• Grass matting
The Challenges:
The installation was in a public park, so the site needed to be secured from the public at all times. HERAS fencing was erected around the site while the removals and installation took place.
Outcome:
The site has provided a free fitness option to all users of the park. The equipment was set up alongside an existing walkway to allow everyone easy access across all seasons.
Grassmatting was installed under each unit to protect the surface around the unit from wear. This is also a discrete surface with minimal maintenance required long term.
