The Brief:
Hazel Court is situated in Manchester, and offers care and independent living for adults with complicated health or a learning disability. The Client was looking for an outdoor sports facility to increase the fitness levels of their residents.
Equipment Installed:
Championship Fencing – 15 x 8m
1 pedestrian gate
2 basketball posts
Type 4 Polymeric Surfacing
The Challenges:
The installation was close by to the care housing so the teams made sure to be sympathetic to working house and to cause as little disruption as possible. The project was completed swiftly to ensure minimal disturbance.
Outcome:
The new MUGA installation has been a great success with residents, the durable and anti slip surfacing has provided a safe space for users to enjoy ball sports.
The small size court allows users to not be overwhelmed in the sports space and is ideal for the number is residents at Hazel Court.
