The Brief:
The Client wanted a multi-use goal end with basketball ring and backboard, football and cricket wickets to offer the maximum sports. Surfacing was required to provide a strong surface for regular use.
Equipment Installed:
• GO2002 – 7.2 Wide Goal End with 2m Sides
• SUDS Bond Surfacing
The Challenges:
The installation took place in a community site, so HERAS fencing was erected to protect the public during this time.
Outcome:
The new goal end provides a range of sporting options for local youths in the area. The SUDS bond hard standing is perfect for regular use while offering exceptional drainage properties in comparison to regular tarmac.
Local users of the park have already started to enjoy the new installation with groups playing football, basketball, and cricket regularly.
