PROJECT TYPE | Installation of new multi use games area with surfacing |
The Brief:
The Client tendered for a new multi use games area for the local park. The requirements were for durable long lasting fencing with options for basketball and football.
Equipment Installed:
• Premiership Fencing 16m x 28m x 1m
• Two Combi Goal Ends
• One multiactive colour wall
• Tarmac surfacing with line markings
The Challenges:
The installation was in a public park, so the site needed to be secured from the public at all times. HERAS fencing was erected around the site while the removals and installation took place.
Outcome:
The site has been a fantastic success with a wide variety of users enjoying the space. With options for football, basketball and the added extra colour wall for target practice, there is something for all age groups to enjoy. The fencing offers an easy access chicane entrance and alternative access through the goal ends, while being durable and resilient to heavy use.
A fantastic opening event was held for the local community to enjoy and Caloo donated a range of footballs, basketballs and accessories to the local sports club.
