The Brief:
The Client were looking to install a large triple MUGA to incorporate a range of sporting options. Surfacing was to be green coated tarmac with line markings. To create a MUGA size of approx. 50m x 30m x 3m high divided into 3 separate areas.
Divided into three courts which cover:
-Football and Basketball
-Tennis, Football and Basketball
-Tennis and Netball
The Challenges:
The installation took place within a community park which meant the public had access to 24/7. Protective fencing was installed to allow the team to work safely in the designated area, this also helped limited access and protect the public while the works were completed.
Outcome:
The new sports courts have been a great success with the local community. The variety of sports available on each court allow a wide range of user groups to take advantage of the new facility. The coloured surfacing offers a bold and exciting design aspect to the space.
Equipment Installed:
Championship Fencing, Enclosed Goal Ends with lockable gates. Green coated surfacing with line markings.
