The Brief:
The Client were looking for a variable resistance outdoor gym to be situated outside of the athletics track and courts. This was to provide another option for the community to exercise outside.

The Challenges:
The installation of this site provided a few challenges for the team. Working within a community site meant the public had access 24/7. Protective fencing was installed to allow the team to work safely in the designated area, this also helped limited access and protect the public while the works were completed.
Outcome:
The gym has been well used daily and the public is enjoying the variable resistance aspect of the gym units. Local teams and groups are using the site to warm up and cool down before track events or ball games which is great to see the site being integrated into community fitness activities. The site is widely accessible with easy access from the path and grass matting safety surfacing.
