Date 2021
Project Type Play Area & MUGA

The Brief:
The client wanted a play area that could entertain children from toddler to teenage years and an MUGA for football, basketball and tennis. Both areas would be used by residents of the new housing development so as to keep them active and build a community.

Equipment Installed:
– Timber Seesaw
– Timber Multiplay Unit
– Clamber Stack
– Timber Swing
– Timber Single Basket Swing
– Removable Tennis Net Posts
– Free Standing Five -A-Side Goals
– Wooden Benches
– Square Litter Bin

The Challenges:
Due to the size of the project, there was a long installation period during the winter months. This resulted in the adjustment of our programme of installation due to the varying weather conditions.
To overcome this challenge, we frequently spoke with Croudace Homes, informing them of when works would continue. Due to our strong line of communication, we were able to deliver the project on time.

Outcome:
Infants and juniors now have a place to experience outdoor play whilst building their social and motor skills. The local community can play football, basketball and tennis without having to travel too far.
