The new track has been a big hit with the children. The SUDS track means that no surface water builds up on so a mile can be run whatever the weather. The track allows several children to run side by side which makes the activity social and fun for all. The installation of a defined track means the activity is also fully inclusive for those less able and wheelchair users.

The children have really enjoyed the new sports facility. The MUGA offers children the chance to play basketball, football and netball, with cricket options on the panel on the outer wall along with target practice on the skills wall. The four mini goals also allow two games of five a side to be played next to each other within the court. A great installation with numerous possibilities for PE lessons and sports events at the school.

The new play options have been thoroughly enjoyed by local children. The basket swing and the ManDDAla roundabout both offer inclusive play, with the ManDDAla suitable for up to two wheelchair users. The site offers spinning, swinging and climbing which provides a good basis for physical play all in one space. The surfacing also protects the ground from wear during periods of heavy use.

The new gym has provided a good exercise trail along the existing path. The SUDS bond allows use of the gym in all weather conditions as SUDS offers fast drainage and no surface water build up. As the site is popular with dog walkers a dog lead post was installed at each two unit pad. This allows dog walkers to stop off and work out safely with their dog closely by. The site offers a wide range of unit for strength and cardiovascular activities along with two wheelchair friendly units.

The choice of the snake slide offered an easy access steps to a slide, along with seating under the unit for children to rest. The Fire Engine playhouse is create to spark imagination with little ones and offers a host of moving panels including a driving area with steering wheel and moving levers, this is a great social play unit.

The new fitness space allows the community to workout at the gym with 18 user stations and 12 units or play football or basketball on the MUGA. Spectators can also sit and watch sports matches in the new sheltered Youth Shelters. We selected Matchplay 2 for the sports surfacing as this offers fantastic ball properties for a range of sports with low sand content for all year-round use. A great fitness site for all ages and abilities to use.
