CLIENT | Haydon Wick Parish Council |
BUDGET | £46,000.00 + VAT |
DATE | 2019 |
PROJECT TYPE | Premiership MUGA with Panels |
The Brief:
The Client tendered for a new community MUGA to be constructed at an existing run-down sports space. The Client wanted a durable high-quality structure to offer space for a range of space to be played.
Equipment Installed:
• Premiership Fencing and Open Back Goals
• 2 x Cricket MultiActive Walls
• Court Markings
• Tarmac surfacing and pathway
The Challenges:
The installation was to take place in a community park, so HERAS fencing was erected to protect the public. All tools were locked away each night and the site were left secure from day to day. The installation was completed on time and to budget.
Outcome:
The new MUGA offers the community the opportunity to play basketball, football and cricket within the court. The open goals and chicane entrance allows the court to be accessed by wheelchair users and those less able.
The steel construction is a vast improvement from the timber MUGA which in place before due to the durability and construction. A fantastic addition to the community park.
