The Brief:
The Client were looking to transform a space within the community park, to increase health and fitness in the local area. The Client were after a sports court is line markings for a wide variety of sports with an Outdoor Gym nearby for different fitness opportunities.
The Equipment:
– Premiership MUGA with MultiActive Panels 18 x 30m
– Basketball/ Football/ Tennis and Netball Markings
– Acrylic coated sports surface
– Steel Aerial Runway – 20m
– Outdoor Gym Cardio Bundle with grass matting
-Custom signs for Gym and MUGA
Installation:
Being set in a community park, HERAS fencing was erected to ensure safety for the public along with the team installing the project. The site also had french drains running throughout so the team were careful to ensure these were avoided and not damaged during install.
Completion:
The site was completed on time and under budget, offering Hermitage Parish Council a fantastic destination sports zone for all users. With a wide range of activities available including stength and cardio based gym units through to a fantastic high quality MUGA with a wide variety of sports options.
The aerial runways is popular with slightly younger users as a fun fitness option. Local sports groups regularly visit the site to take part in circuit training, football, basketball, netball and bootcamp style workouts.
